As Baptized members of the Catholic faith, each of us has a responsibility to “conscious and active participation” in the Mass (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 1963). In a unique way, some members of our parish are called forth from the congregation to lead others in celebration of the Holy Mass as lay (non-ordained) liturgical ministers.
