NFP is the practice of observing and charting these fertility signs to determine accurately when a woman is fertile and when she is infertile. When you want to achieve pregnancy, NFP helps you identify the most fertile time. When you want to avoid pregnancy, you abstain during the fertile time. NFP can be used in ANY cycle regardless of the woman's circumstances.

Each year the Knights of Columbus, located on Highway 62 west of Lanesville, offers a community fish fry on Friday evening during Lent. The meal includes all-you-can-eat fish, cole slaw, baked beans and a beverage for the cost of $8.50. Carry out is available. (Children’s meals, age 6-12, are $4.25). The fish frys are held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm each Friday during Lent.
